Devour My Hate

This is part two of a two part series (maybe three part in a few days.. haha).

I've been working on these 2 vectors for MONTHS!!! I've just been busy or too picky on details and how I wanted to present them (not to mention coming up with a name scheme to play off eacht other), but in the end I am very satisfied with these. Another reason for their length in time to complete is I was unsure how the roses would look printed (since I had in mind to have these offered as prints from the start). I just bought a new printer yesterday, tested and they turned out fantastic. Now they are ready for the public

This is the "hate" piece. What better way to depict hate than with a skull. Went with the purple flowers to depict death, decay. The type is also 'dirtier' compared to the clean type of the "love" piece. I wanted to go greyscale for the most in both of these with the flowers being the only part color. Very minimal as well. Done 100% in Illustrator, 16x20 at full res. Personally, I think their my best vector works to date. Hope you enjoy.
